THAT SUMMER - DROWSINESS OF ANCIENT GARDENS (1994)

ADIAPHORA 003
First release of That Summer (David Sanson's moniker) with Tony Wakeford (Death in June/Sol Invictus former member) as special guest. The "Interludes" are composed by Rainier Lericolais.
Ephemere french label, Adiaphora was leaded by David Sanson, Bertrand Dermoncourt & Christophe Taupin, all of them representants of the Châteauroux's Underground.
That Summer is David Sanson (piano and vocals) with assistance from Laurent Delage (cello) and Tony Wakeford (vocals, acoustic guitar and bass).
fluxeuropa.com :
John Marshall writes: This is relaxing and very dreamy with a hint of creepiness provided by the cello. (...) Tony Wakeford sounds unbelievably dreamy on 'Dies Irae'! The accented-English and French vocals of David Sanson work pretty well and come as a bit of a surprise after so much instrumental music.

I very much loved Dans Les Arbres and the Sadness of Beauty. Such gorgeous music! Thank you bringing pleasure into my life! These songs go so well with wine ;)
