Rough Trade - RT119TFirst track is an excellent dancefloor-oriented remix of "Baby Turns Blue" from the LP "...If I Die, I Die", produced by Wire's Colin Newman. I always liked the Virgin Prunes and I wonder why they're not shared more on the net... I never saw them as the grandfathers of the Goth Rock, more like an outgrowth of the punk/post-punk wave, close to the industrial bands (Gavin Friday, the lead singer, works with Dave Ball, Genesis P'Orridge and Coil, Balance & Christopherson made a video for them). They are the best irish band of the era and their concerts are legendary by their insanity.(VP's MySpace)

virgin prunes complete discography has been remastered and rereleased in 2004, including the 3 tracks on that 12". maybe that's the reason why they are not more often shared, though they are one of the best band ever...
To me 'Over the Rainbow' IS their best album. Compilation of rarities 1981-83.
Gavin Friday has also played with The Fall.

The faculties of a broken heart n'a pas me semble-t-il été réédité. Les formes radiophoniques et leurs actions succédamnées Sanson tenues à la version LP annonçant walls of jericho, l'ovni de l'album
des bootlegs / enregistrements live seraient les bienvenus!!! :-)

Ce maxi a bien été réédité par Mute, la face A sur "Over The Rainbow" et les 2 titres de la face B on été intégrés dans "If I Die... I Die" (qui contient d'ailleurs un inédit)
Virgin Prunes foram a essência e a nostalgia. Foram o verdadeiro 3º segredo de Fátima. Tenho toneladas de bootlegs desde os anos 80. Sei que há uns anos digitalizei tudo. Até videos. Tenho que procurar. À Bientôt
